Meet Our founders
Gary Taube
CPA, CA
Gary is one of the Managing Partners of Accountimize, having started his career in the audit practice of Deloitte, providing assurance services to small and mid-size businesses. Upon transitioning to industry, Gary has held senior finance roles in both publicly listed and private companies, focused on a myriad of value-additive and risk-mitigation initiatives. Gary is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA), and holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in accounting from McGill University.
Ovais Ghani
ACCA, MBA
Ovais is one of the Managing Partners of Accountimize, and developed his unique skillset working in senior finance and accounting positions in reputable North American publicly listed and private companies, focusing on technology-enabled business optimization utilizing globally distributed teams of professionals. Ovais dually holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Master’s of Business Administration in Treasury and Finance, from Karachi University, and is a qualified member of ACCA (UK).
Safi Rashid
CPA-CGA, ACCA, MSC, MOS
Safi is one of the Managing Partners of Accountimize, with adecade and a half of experience working with small, mid and large companies, both private and public, in Europe and North America, Safi has gained unparalleled expertise in helping companies build and manage distributed, cost-effective finance teams and bespoke service offerings. Safi is a qualified member of ACCA (UK), a CPA Canada Charter-holder, earned a BA (Hons) Applied Accounting from Anglia Ruskin University and holds a Master’s of Science, Professional Accountancy, from University of London.
Ahsan Salam
CPA, CGA, FCCA, MSc
Ahsan is one of the Managing Partners of Accountimize, having over 10 years of experience working in the finance and accounting industry in various roles and functions in North America, Western Europe, and South Asia. He is a qualified member of ACCA (UK), a CPA Canada Charter-holder, and holds the prestigious designation of Microsoft Certified Trainer, MCT. Ahsan earned a Bachelor of Commerce, and Master of Finance & Economics from Karachi University and a Master’s of Science, Professional Accountancy, from University of London.
